A lawyer by profession, a traveller by passion and a thinker in my free time – welcome to my little bubble! For a while travelling was all about holidays and expensive resorts and pretty dresses (I still wear the most outrageous outfits) but for 3 years now travelling has completely redefined my way of life and thinking and what it means to be a Muslim Hijabi Traveller.

Like most other people, I was taught to study hard, get a good job, get married, have kids and repeat the process with them. I completed my Masters in Law and went immediately into the legal profession. Not once did I consider that travelling could bring out my true personality and also allow me to encourage other Asian, Muslim women (and men!) to step out of their comfort zone in confidence! So what do I write about? Everything travel. Hacks, stories, photography, my experiences and planning. Hugely requested by my friends and family, I also have a “Your Questions” section where I basically….answer your questions. So expect some deep insights on Muslim travelling, stereotypes faced by Asians, some debunking of societal norms and answers to questions like “My mum says I can only travel after getting married, what should I do?” Also expect to see some outrageous outfits, some outspoken opinions and random emojis!
